Except for some files in which the file name ended up being too long the transfer it worked perfectly. So the copying took about 8 hours (of agonizing anxiety) but it worked perfectly. So I went to our paid for, offline back up service and somehow the main file was never clicked upon to be backed up.
Win 10 loads into the machine all good so far, and now comes the problem I cant see the files I transferred off. Then I proceed to format her hard drive and start from scratch. Saw that her files were intact so I connect a hard drive and copied them over (about 4 hours each time). I decided to load Linux OS onto a USB Drive and start her pc that way.
